What is Self Hypnosis?
Self hypnosis is a self-induced sleep like state that can be artificially
induced in ones self and become susceptible to suggestions, it is similar
to meditation but is driven by your own suggestions. It is an exercise where
your body and mind respond to suggestions without the involvement of your
conscious and is not limited to the things you consciously do and control.
Memory lapses are common and you will only experience a loss of consciousness
if you fall asleep.
It takes time to develop the technique of self hypnosis. We created these
cds initially for the benefit of our patients in private practice and
found overwhelming successes. This technique is simple and can be practiced
until it becomes a life-long attitude.
Self hypnosis is a safe and effective tool in making changes to your life
and covers a wide spectrum of uses. We have used this technique for teaching
relaxation and pain
